Examples of available facilities
Unit A
Fully renovated in 2014, Unit A offers our customers cooled modern facilities, incorporating building engineering to maximise the comfort of users.
The biggest operators in Unit A are LADEC, a group company of the City of Lahti that focuses on developing business growth in the Lahti region; Schneider, an expert in energy management and automation; and Securitas, which provides security services.
All the facilities in Unit A are currently in use.
Unit B
Unit B is the oldest part of Lahti Science Park. It was originally built to house the Ewald shirt factory and was later converted into a business incubator. Today, it houses the University of Helsinki, LAB University of Applied Sciences and LUT University. In addition, it is home to leading Finnish science education for children and young people provided by JunnuYliopisto and the Päijät-Häme LUMA Centre.
Currently, a space of approximately 200 m2 is available in Unit B. These facilities, including office spaces and fully renovated in 2016, are located on the ground floor and are ideally suited for modern hybrid work.
Unit C
Unit C is Lahti Science Park’s second newest office building, completed in 2008. The facilities are adaptable and can be easily adjusted to accommodate various office needs. The facilities feature a modern chilled beam system that ensures excellent working conditions in the hot summer months.
Unit C currently houses, for example, the Päijät-Häme Summer University; Azets Insight Oy, a provider of financial management and HR services.

Unit D
Unit D is the latest addition to Lahti Science Park. Completed in 2012, it offers users extensive office spaces as well as smaller individual offices. The unit also houses the Niemi Works coworking facilities, complete with a kitchen offering magnificent views as well as modern office solutions that offer a comfortable environment for fruitful work.
Unit D is home to several companies active in fields ranging from technology and IT to service design. The largest operators include Eurofins, an expert in the laboratory industry, and Ramboll Finland Ltd, an internationally operating consultancy.
