May Day party in the Kilpikonna (turtle) lobby
How about hosting a May day party at Lahti Science Park? Order food and drinks from our service provider, organise a tricky quiz, schedule a few speeches, invite people from the University Campus and Science Park, and crown the turtle statue. This could turn into a tradition!
Servings for every occasion
Kanttis is a modern and bright lunch café in Lahti Science Park, which opened in 10th Of November 2025, where fresh flavors, fresh ingredients, and decades of experience come together. Our buffet has a slight à la carte twist – just the right touch to make your everyday lunch that little bit better.
Every day we offer a generous and colorful salad bar, two main courses, a vegetarian option, soup, homemade bread, coffee, and a dessert table.
The most important things for us are authenticity, joy, and meeting our customers – that’s why Kanttis is a place where good food and good vibes go hand in hand.
Come to Kanttis for lunch!
Kanttis is open on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Lunch is served on weekdays from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
We also take care of your meeting catering and celebrations!
Kanttis provides catering for events of all sizes at Lahti Science Park, from meetings and thesis defense ceremonies to seminars and parties for up to 150 people.

Meeting facilities
Are you planning a meeting, conference, product demonstration or large customer event? Lahti Science Park offers various facilities of different sizes, suitable for both smaller meetings and large events.
The meeting facilities are available weekdays from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. The keys to the facilities can be picked up at the information desk in the main lobby weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Käkikello lobby
The cosy, multifunctional Käkikello (cuckoo clock) lobby, centrally located next to the main lobby, offers a relaxed environment and venue open to all. It is used, for example, for temporary exhibitions and themes. The lobby’s peaceful and adaptable furnishings make it an excellent place for informative and cultural events.
You can also book Käkikello lobby for your own use, for example, as a meeting space or for a larger event.
Aalto auditorium
The auditorium is located on the ground floor of Unit B. It has seating for 90, with additional chairs available.
The space is equipped with a projector, flip chart, microphone, document camera and
free WIFI.
Price: €34.72 per hour (incl. VAT 24%). The key can be picked up at the information desk in the main lobby weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
